Paint. What you don't know will hurt
Prior to 2003 paint was made from lead and could tolerate harsh cleaning products like liquid dish soaps and cleaners such as Simple Green or Mr. Clean. Most paints are now made with polyurethane, chroma or other similar base. These paints will not withstand harsh detergents.
Over time, harsh cleaners soften and damage the car's paint causing it to quickly oxidize. Clean with just half a cap of CleanEz adding 1/4 cup food grade distilled white vinegar to the bucket of water.
Remove oil and grease by dabbing a bit of concentrated CleanEz on the spot and allowing it to set 5 to 10 minutes. Then wash.
