Green Cleaners

When you make the jump to Go Green in your life don’t forget the broom closed. First of all a cleaner may tout the Green Seal of Approval but how green is the product if it is ready to use right out of the bottle? Not very.

The cleaner itself may not have hazardous chemicals but a product that is already diluted like most cleaners require tremendous amounts of energy, oil and resources to manufacture and transport plastic bottles to the stores.

Look for products that not only carry seals of approval but also come concentrated so you dilute them yourself. Your cleaners should come concentrated where one ounce of cleaner makes 32 ounces of diluted cleaner like our EPA certified CLEAN EZ All Purpose Green Cleaner Each bottle of concentrated eliminates the oil and energy and landfill waste of 32 bottles. It is a tremendous savings when millions of people are buying concentrated green cleaners.

Did I mention that by switching to concentrated cleaners you save around $200 or more buying ready to use products. If that is not enough to convince you to make the switch consider this: Only 1 ounce of that cleaner is the cleaning agent the other 31 ounces is water. If the bottle costs you $9 you pay $1 for the cleaner, bottle and label and $8 for a 31 ounces water! Ouch.

Read your labels. Replace any cleaner that is not Earth Friendly with one that contains the EPA or Green Seal. A good rule of thumb ‘if you can’t pronounce a name on a bottle or don’t know what is in the product, it does not belong in your home. Our concentrated EPA certified all-purpose cleaner, CleanEz and concentrated streak free window cleaner Benya are safe yet very effective cleaners.
